This paper intends both to focus, with a semi-formal path, the specific features of the Church‟s thesis and to give evidence to those aspects that, on the other hand, show a characteristic of generality and can be exported and interpreted also where the objects involved by the thesis don‟t have any reason for existence. The aim is to grasp a unitary aspect of science that be then pervasive of didactical practice for a teaching having as its aim the making of a scientific culture.
