This volume, prepared for joining the cultural event target to represents a concrete and a real witness. The event is articulate in two different time both with an high scientific and cultural contents. For this reason we have chosen the title "The Ghost Museum, in tour". It fact the presentation of the book is proposed first in Naples (the date proposed by the French Ministry, 16 May 2009), and then in Paris, taking advantage of the European Wild Animals Symposium, organized by the WAVES society (21-24 May 2009). The volume thus represents an important tool to communicate and to exploit, even to the layman, the important historical and scientific heritage of the Department
