Design of a new twin propeller aircraft named P2006 VELT (Very Light Twin) has been carried out at Tecnam aircraft industries during 2006. The new aircraft design, performed by Prof. L. Pascale, is based on the idea of a very light twin. The 4-seats aircraft is equipped with two light 100-hp engines (Rotax 912S, usually used for ultralight aircraft) and is characterized by a maximum take-off weight of 1180 kg. The aerodynamic configuration of the aircraft has been studied and improved during all 2007 with the help of deep numerical and experimental activities performed at DIAS. The original aircraft configuration has been also modified with the addition of well designed winglet.

Abstract
The original aircraft configuration has been also modified with the addition of well designed winglet.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
