Multi-Agent Systems Applicability in Mnaufacturing Logistics

During the time, logistics reached vast proportions and thus, the scientific literature is not talking about logistics in general, but rather about logistic systems. A logistic system includes all the harmonisation activities of space and time with the goods that compose these activities and the human beings that realise them, including their grouping. Logistics has a very important role in domains such as: telecommunication and network, manufacturing and fabrication, transports and healthcare, domains in which, according to a research study, multi-agent systems have important applications. if initially the systems based on multi-agents were applied to domains as manufacturing, processes control, telecommunication systems, air traffic control, transport management and urban traffic, filtration of information, electronic commerce, business management, healthcare etc., today more and more new domains are considered for multi-agent system introduction. This paper deals with some applications of multi-agent systems in manufacturing logistics.
