Abstract
The paper deals with the feasibility study assigned by the regional administration to the Architecture Faculty of the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, with the aim of reorganizing the east area of Naples. Pursuing the deep renewal of the infrastructures that link the ancient city centre to the peripheries, an inclusive design process has been experimentally defined through the enlargement of the decisional arena. The assignment related to the areas around the most ancient European railway station realized in Naples in 1839 (Napoli – Portici), and deeply transformed during the 800th and 900th centuries. Outside the old city walls (Porta Nolana), built and inbuilt spaces developed as a sort of innovation emblem with historical, architectural, technological values.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
