The article deals with different aspects in the architectural designing guidelines of care centres. The problems concerning the definition of a rightly usable space become an impulse to the questions which a careful designer should ask himself in order to analyze and synthesize the subject-architecture organism, bringing himself towards a close relation between the user's sociological and psychological dimension and the man-made environment’s spatial and technological one. Thus we would like to emphasize the need to go over the former conception of these realities, like waiting non-places, lived not-liveable places, replacing it with the innovating concept of a place to stay in which to dwell the space, in the wake of an humanizing process of those structures which attempts to focus on the relationship between customers and health staff.

Abstract
The article deals with different aspects in the architectural designing guidelines of care centres. The problems concerning the definition of a rightly usable space become an impulse to the questions which a careful designer should ask himself in order to analyze and synthesize the subject-architecture organism, bringing himself towards a close relation between the user's sociological and psychological dimension and the man-made environment’s spatial and technological one. Thus we would like to emphasize the need to go over the former conception of these realities, like waiting non-places, lived not-liveable places, replacing it with the innovating concept of a place to stay in which to dwell the space, in the wake of an humanizing process of those structures which attempts to focus on the relationship between customers and health staff.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
