The paper deals with the mathematical modelling of one-dimensional unsteady debris-flow. The model is based on the generalized Herchel-Bulkley constituent law for non newtonian fluids, and is based on numerical discretisation of Integral version of Conservative De Saint-Venant shallow-water equations.

Abstract

The paper deals with the mathematical modelling of one-dimensional unsteady debris-flow. The model is based on the generalized Herchel-Bulkley constituent law for non newtonian fluids, and is based on numerical discretisation of Integral version of Conservative De Saint-Venant shallow-water equations.
