Alcuni strumenti per la prevenzione del rischio: l’uso delle carte tematiche

Abstract : An effective working method to avoid risks, using design, is to built a site analysis based not only on territory visible aspects, but even on everything that draw its substratum, the underground geography, what is hidden in its dept. So when the flux of suggestions and choices directs a designer in the act of site metamorphosis, it is necessary to consider not only aerial photography, pictures, surveys, and everything documents the rapport between built environment and territory in which it is, but to take as fundamental information for the project, dates relative to ground conformation, its history, its behaviour through the years, imaging which will be its future structure interacting with atmospheric agents. To pursue the prevention first step is to structure a very in-depth and specific inquiry: so it is very important choice right instruments to use to. For these reasons, in this paper about the risk prevention through design, I will talk about of some thematic maps that Regione Campania made: Geological map- CARG, Landslide inventory- IFFI and Coasts radiography. Regione Campania is realizing these maps in collaboration with some experts in different disciplines.
