The activity of alkaline phosphatase and steroid receptors have been evaluated in cytosols from 18 canine breast cancer specimens. The results show that ALP activity is inversely related to the ER content. The authors suggests that alkaline phosphatase should be involved in the dephosphorilation receptors in canine breast cancer.

Abstract
