The U.E. agricultural policy incites the environment defence of disadvantaged lands but also the improvement of animal production and sustainable agriculture.The National Park of Pollino, since 1994 has controlled the wild boar distribution and quantified the damage for agriculture. Aim of the work was to identify the extent and the kind of cultivation damages, the season and the geagraphic distribution. An evaluation between domestic animal production and wild fauna protection was processed.
