This project studies the breach of attention thresholds in recent years by three polluttants (carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and suspended particles) for fivr monitoring stations installed within the confines of Naples. To identify the station that is most sensitive to variations in atmosferic pollution, a preliminary historical-developmental analysis of pollutants has been conducted for individual monitoring stations. The data relating to the levels of three pollutants of the pilot station together with the data of the meteorological parameters relating to Naples is the input for obtaining hourly predictions of the air quality by means of a neural net.
