Experiments of NO adsorption on Cu-ZSM5 and subsequent TPD have been carried out. During adsorption at 120°C, a transient production of N2O, NO2 and nitrate species was observed. N2O is formed when the catalyst is pre-reduced, due to the copper sites re-oxidation, while nitrates are formed at long exposition times, via the reaction of NO2 with oxidised copper sites.

Abstract
Experiments of NO adsorption on Cu-ZSM5 and subsequent TPD have been carried out. During adsorption at 120°C, a transient production of N2O, NO2 and nitrate species was observed. N2O is formed when the catalyst is pre-reduced, due to the copper sites re-oxidation, while nitrates are formed at long exposition times, via the reaction of NO2 with oxidised copper sites.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
