In this paper we propose the re-use of wastewater sludge produced by plants in mountain areas for the greening of ski slopes. By comparing such a technique with those normally employed it is possible to highlight the sanitary and the agronomical problems involved. The results of two experiments carried out to determine the limitations and advantages of this technique permit the optimal fields of application to be identified.
