A synthesis approach was used for analyzing hybrid reflector antennas with near field constraint. This technique was applied to a reflector with circular symmetric aperture. The algorithm was implemented in a numerical code and subjected to an extensive numerical analysis to assess its effectiveness. However, the approach was able to synthesize contour-beam hybrid reflector antennas by significantly reducing the field on prefixed areas close to the antenna system.

Abstract
