This paper describes the extension to the circular scanning case of a recently proposed approach to scatterer localisation problem from single frequency, scattered field data. The approach allows the determination of the number and the location of a set of scatterers without requiring the solution of full inverse problem, i.e., the inversion of the radiation or scatterer operator. The numerical analysis shows that the achievable performance are better than those obtained with a rectilinear scanning.

Abstract
This paper describes the extension to the circular scanning case of a recently proposed approach to scatterer localisation problem from single frequency, scattered field data. The approach allows the determination of the number and the location of a set of scatterers without requiring the solution of full inverse problem, i.e., the inversion of the radiation or scatterer operator. The numerical analysis shows that the achievable performance are better than those obtained with a rectilinear scanning.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
