The translation of poly(A)+ mRNA from the rat seminal vesicles in a protein synthesizing rabbit reticulocyte lysate produces two precursors of the major protein (RSV-IV) secreted from the rat seminal vesicle epithelium. Addition of dog pancreas microsomal membranes to cell-free translation system results in the processing of the RSV-IV precursors to RSV-IV. When the poly(A)+ mRNA is injected into Xenopous laevis oocytes, RSV-IV is sinthesized, sequestered within membranes and exported as multiple secretory forms

Abstract
The translation of poly(A)+ mRNA from the rat seminal vesicles in a protein synthesizing rabbit reticulocyte lysate produces two precursors of the major protein (RSV-IV) secreted from the rat seminal vesicle epithelium. Addition of dog pancreas microsomal membranes to cell-free translation system results in the processing of the RSV-IV precursors to RSV-IV. When the poly(A)+ mRNA is injected into Xenopous laevis oocytes, RSV-IV is sinthesized, sequestered within membranes and exported as multiple secretory formsI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
