The genus Henryhowella Puri, 1957 in the Recent of the Gulf of Naples is represented by two species which we have provisionally named Henryhowella sp. 1 and Henryhowella sp. 2. Both species are illustrated. Henryhowella sp. 1 shows a depth distribution from 40 m to 170 m and Henryhowella sp. 2 from 110 to 350 m. The distribution of the genus in the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Arctic does not seem correlated with the bathymetry and dissolved oxygen, temparature or salinity conditions.
