The Upper Langhian-Early Serravallian ostracods of the section Ras-il-Pellegrin (Malta Isle) have been studied from systematic point of view. The ostracod fauna is constituted by 78 species., 53 of which have been identified or doubtfully identified. Ninenteen species are left in open nomenclature and 6 described and illustrated as new: Australoecia posterocurca n. sp., Cytherella fovea n. sp., Eucytherura bicornuta n. sp., Monoceratina praeoblita n. sp., Ruggeria caudoflexa n. sp. and Trachyleberidea lanceolata n. sp.
