The aim of the present work is to investigate the interaction mechanisms between the electromagnetic field and “modified” double-helical DNA molecules as recently proposed in literature. To this end a family of applicators has been developped in order to expose the biomolecules to electromagnetic fields (300 MHz - 2.5 GHz) and to follow, simultaneously, their conformational changes induced by the radiation.
