Urban Safety represents nowadays a public focus, in relation to mass media and politics, as answer to the diffusion of new fears perceived in the urban spaces. Unsafety is compared to the widest concept of "social risk" that includes the problems of predatory and soft crimes, urban decay, vandalism, social segregation and the connected matters to the immigration. The city of Naples, unfortunately, in the last years has experienced growing criminal phenomenons due to local mafia (camorra). It needs urgent and incisive interventions to improve its liveability and urban quality. The history of the city from the second postwar period to today is characterized by processes of social gentrification from the center to the first peripheral crown breaking up the social structure and segregating the high-medium classes from the proletarians, The Camorra is both an economic power and a social background. It built over the decades an intricate network of semi-legal and illegal activities, and in the meantime, it forges cultural habits and contributes to shape, in a negative way , the social background of Naples' neighbourhoods.
