Used value resists from around thirty years despite the variations, in time, from technical characteristics of circulating cars and from drivers population. The research has considered a sample of cars in Campania. Data analysis has shown what variations exist from reference value. Obtained results have allowed to value the implications on roads safety for variation of this parameter.
