This paper discusses the implementation of an LQ control strategy through the use of a Minimal Control Synthesis adaptive algorithm recently presented in the literature. It is shown that by using such approach the structural stability of the closed-loop system can be improved with respect both parameter mismatches and nonlinear perturbations. A case study discussed in the literature on LQ controllers is used to illustrate the strategy presented in the paper.

Abstract
This paper discusses the implementation of an LQ control strategy through the use of a Minimal Control Synthesis adaptive algorithm recently presented in the literature. It is shown that by using such approach the structural stability of the closed-loop system can be improved with respect both parameter mismatches and nonlinear perturbations. A case study discussed in the literature on LQ controllers is used to illustrate the strategy presented in the paper.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
