The Italian National Action Plan for radon 2023-2032 (PNAR) published in GU Serie Generale n.43 of 21-02-2024, together with the Italian Legislative Decree (D.Lgs) 101/2020, requires the Italian regions to monitor radon indoor activity concentrations in order to identify radon priority areas. A preliminary map of Campania region radon priority areas, in Italy, has been recently realized, based on indoor radon concentration measurements, by means of solid state nuclear track detectors (CR-39), in workplaces, residential and public buildings. In this work, a focus on the radon measurements performed in the city of Benevento is reported.
