Archeo.metalli/2025 project. Matter, techniques, forms. International workshop (Naples, 27 February 2025)

Carmela Capldi, Stefano Nisi, Emanuela Spagnoli (Autori): on 27 February 2025, the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II hosted the second international meeting of the Archeo.Metalli Project, titled Materia, tecniche, forme (Matter, Techniques, Forms). The workshop was devoted to the most recent developments in archaeometric research on metals, encompassing periods from antiquity to the modern era. Its primary aim was to present new research outcomes and best practices in the archaeometric study of metals, with a focus on methodological innovations, technological advances, and their applications within the field of cultural heritage. The project is also linked to the activities of the Research Unit of the University of Naples coordinated by Carmela Capaldi, as part of the PRIN 2022 "Letters for the Arts: Farnese Art and Patronage through Correspondence (1534-1589)".
