This essay face the question of artificial intelligence starting from key concepts of Baudrillard’s thought. The first section will be focused on delimitating the research field on which investigate AI. In the second section, the concept of hyper-reality will be used as passe-partout to access reflections of the French philosopher. Lastly, in the final section, the relationship between intelligence and thought will emerge as nuclear question in the ontological short-circuit caused by digital revolution.
