A total of 170primary school children (third to fifth grade) participated in 17focus groups. Transcripts of children’s reflections were analyzedthrough latent thematic analysis. Results show children’s con-sciousness about web-related risks, as well as their need formore protected and shared experiences with adults. Opencommunication within families and parental mediation strate-gies oriented to regulate children’s screen use are needed.Findings provide significant clinical implications
