L’altalenante processo di integrazione dell’Unione europea negli ultimi venticinque anni

The present work aims to retrace the main stages of the European integration process over the last 25 years. The paper highlights how, despite the many difficulties and obstacles the EU has faced, its response has always been effective and tangible. Finally, some possible Treaty amendments have been taken into account, in the perspective of the adaptation of the Union to the new global challenges and with a view to the further development of the European project.
