In this paper we compute the Hilbert function and the Hilbert polynomial of the projective closure of a set of lines in the affine space (Formula presented.), which are parallel to the coordinate axes and pass through a lattice of points. These results generalize those of Guida and Orecchia (J Pure Appl Algebra 208:603–615, 2007).
