The study is part of a broader research related to the convents of the Franciscan Order located in the Campania region (Italy). The purpose is to document these structures and analyze their morpho-metric and distributional characteristics to identify permanencies and mutations in the application of a theoretical model, to a religious complex, inserted within an established urban context. In general research, AI and semantic segmentation approaches are applied to identify architectural elements and specific relational rules, classifying them. In this way, annotations will be employed for training algorithms that facilitate the classification of additional architectural models, leading them back to a given typology - the Franciscan convent - by exploiting semantic inference processes. Here, the first phase of the research concerning the study of the mathematical rules and topological relations on which the model of the Franciscan monastery is set, through the semantic segmentation of architectural elements and spaces.

Abstract
Here, the first phase of the research concerning the study of the mathematical rules and topological relations on which the model of the Franciscan monastery is set, through the semantic segmentation of architectural elements and spaces.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
