This paper offers a historical-critical reinterpretation of the Church of Santa Caterina a Formiello in Naples, highlighting architect-engineer Antonio Marchesi da Settignano and the transmission of Vincian principles in the construction culture of the Renaissance. Through documentary and architectural analysis, the site is framed as a paradigmatic junction between architecture, engineering, and design knowledge.
