The scope of this investigation is to evaluate the pardon granted by President Biden to his son. The analysis showed that the pardon is not only constitutionally correct but also opportune in view of the incoming Administration. In the process, the circumstances, the opportuneness and the institutional consequences of such a pardon are also investigated. President Biden has been a consequential president also in granting clemency for minor crimes and relief from ethnic and cultural preconceptions resulting at the time of writing, with 25 more days in office, the most generous of presidents.
