Well-being and sustainability: rethinking consumption through creativity and relational goods. This study emphasizes the importance of revisiting past economic growth models (Harrod, 1939; Domar, 1946; Solow, 1956), models that have overlooked the dimensions of environmental and social sustainability. After a brief mention of the rich body of traditional growth studies that focused on economic and demographic forces, the essay extensively discusses the premise of social sustainability in development, linking it to a fuller recognition of the importance of what Scitovsky defined as creativity goods and relational goods. The text also highlights the reasons why relational goods are considered economic goods and belong to the category of creativity goods. The essay concludes by calling for new studies on both the characteristics of long-term growth that take into account environmental and social sustainability, and the role that policies must play in supporting balanced and human-centered development.

Abstract
The essay concludes by calling for new studies on both the characteristics of long-term growth that take into account environmental and social sustainability, and the role that policies must play in supporting balanced and human-centered development.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
