This leading article aims to Make a Difference (MAD) by reflecting onthe contribution that literature reviews may offer to changemanagement research. Organizational change is an unavoidablepart of organizational life within and across boundaries. Today,we need novel ways to rethink and theorize change processes,preferably ways that combine insights from multiple researchstreams to capture the speed, the complexity and theinterconnected of organizational change. By building upon thepast, and moving existing research forward, literature reviews canbe very useful to rethink organizational change. This leadingarticle calls for more literature reviews that critically engage withexisting research that can help scholars further the field ofchange research and suggest ways forward.
