LES HOMMES COME ANIMAUX LITTÉRAIRES: LA RIVOLUZIONE ESTETICO-LETTERARIA IN RANCIÈRE

The article offers an analysis of the relationship between literariness, politics and literature through the works of J. Rancière. In particular, the essay analyzes the ways in which the free circulation of speech enables egalitarian participation in the democratic dimension of politics. The appropriation of speech becomes the appropriation of the space and time of emancipation, an instrument of struggle through which the community makes itself visible and sayable in public space. The analysis of the politics of literary realism highlights a mode ofwriting that redistributes the sensible in an egalitarian way by helping to define the democratic space within society.
