We introduce the concepts tests of S-well-posedness and S-well-posedness in generalized sense for quasi-variational inequalities of Stampacchia type. We present metric characterizations, in terms of suitable approximate solutions, and sufficient conditions for S-well-posedness and S-well-posedness in generalized sense.
