The authors describe a technique which applies an interpolation procedure to the current distribution induced over the main reflector of a dual reflector system. This technique proves to be particularly favorable whenever the main reflector surface is known only numerically, as for shaped and/or deformed reflectors. For the sake of simplicity a hyperbolic cylinder is considered; however the extension to a three dimensional case and to more general configurations can be easily accomplished.

Abstract
The authors describe a technique which applies an interpolation procedure to the current distribution induced over the main reflector of a dual reflector system. This technique proves to be particularly favorable whenever the main reflector surface is known only numerically, as for shaped and/or deformed reflectors. For the sake of simplicity a hyperbolic cylinder is considered; however the extension to a three dimensional case and to more general configurations can be easily accomplished.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
