Abstract

A numerical algorithm has been developed to model a non standard boundary value Navier Stokes problem. The method is a variation of a scheme developed by the authors, and successfully applied to the steady state problem of two-dimensional incompressible laminar flow confined by permeable walls. Such a method saves the implicit character of the pressure/velocity correlation on the permeable boundary, thus yielding an accurate description of the transient evolution of the phenomena.
