The talk focuses on a rarely explored phenomenon: online search for body parts (kidneys, and more) . Millions of people all over the world are waiting for an organ transplant . The accessibility to the web for health related information searching is creating new accesses but also new forms of commercialization of human body parts, that are forbidden in most countries. In fact, organ transplantation should be by law an act of pure donation. However, over the internet state-of-the-art facilities (Filippines) offer shocking medical "packages" that includes a kidney, medical support before during and after the procedure, 1 month hotel stay for two people and insurance. Controversial aspects of online environments for medical procedures and bioethical aspects are discussed.
