Fe62.5Co6Ni7.5Zr6Nb2Cu1B15 metallic glass was prepd. by 1-roll melt-spinning. Some samples were annealed for 1 h at selected temps. and then submitted to DTA to evaluate the effect of the annealing temp. (Ta) on the glass structure. Exptl. results suggest that both Topol. and Chem. Short Range Ordering (TSRO and CSRO) start >300°. TSRO actually occurs at Ta ≤ 340°. At higher Ta CSRO and, in the glass transformation range, glass in glass phase sepn. do occur, depending on the annealing time and temp.
