The main object of this paper is the formulation of statistical techinques which pmay be used to compare the trajectories of individuals. The Author suggests factorial and cluster methods to describe a given set of variables observed on the same set of individuals at different times. The Author proposes to characterize the trajectoires in accordance with the shape in the factorial space. A rel example of the strategy is described.
